David was born and raised in London, England where he was introduced to boxing by his cousin Terry Chaffe (British Army Champ).
He spent time in the amateurs and then professional ranks.
David now trains mostly pro boxers from Canada and boxers sent in from Chicago where David used to manage. He also freelances working corners in the USA.
Along with his partner Todd Kubas, they run amateur shows in the Hamilton/Dundas area for the up and coming kids. Todd does most of the work in the amateurs.
